Christine Funk started her career representing defendants in criminal cases in 1994. After 18 years as a criminal defense attorney in Minnesota, she jumped at the chance to become General Counsel for the country's first independent crime lab.
After four years in Washington, D.C., Christine returned to the Twin Cities to develop her criminal practice. She represents defendants facing criminal charges throughout Minnesota.
Christine also consults with other attorneys on cases involving forensic science. She also consults with scriptwriters, novelists, and others interested in forensic science.
Law school doesn't prepare lawyers to handle cases involving forensic science. Christine Funk has been handling forensic science cases as a criminal defense lawyer since 1995.
