Christine Funk started her career representing criminal defendants in 1994. After 18 years as a criminal defense attorney in Minnesota, she jumped at the chance to become General Counsel for the country's first independent crime lab.
Christine now consults with other attorneys on cases involving forensic science. She also consults with script writers, novelists, and others intersted in forensic science.
Law school doesn't prepare lawyers to handle cases involving forensic science. Christine Funk has been handling forensic science cases since 1995. She is the only criminal defense attorney in the country who has also served as General Counsel for an independent crime lab.
